View The New Paralympic Medals Exhibit
The Museum has added an array of Paralympic medals to its already impressive Olympic medal collection. Visitors can view the complete collection of Paralympic medals from 1988 to the present Paralympic Games.
Historically, the Olympic and Paralympic Games have been hosted in different cities, except for the 1964 Tokyo Games. The Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games were hosted in the same venue as the Olympic Games, welcoming over 3,000 athletes from 60 countries and featuring the first Paralympic torch relay and a logo on their medals.
Since 1988, the Paralympic Games have shared the same host city and venues as the Olympic Games, establishing a tradition rooted in mutual respect and celebrating unity. Join us in celebrating this incredible addition to our collection!
