COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum is thrilled to welcome members of the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Paralympic Goalball Teams on Nov. 16 for a special event celebrating their achievements and dedication to their sport. From 2:30-3 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to meet goalball Paralympians and gain insight into their journeys on and off the court.

Goalball is a sport designed specifically for visually impaired athletes and has been a cornerstone of the Paralympic Games since 1976, with both the Men’s and Women’s U.S. teams achieving success over the years.

  • Time: Meet and greet will be from 2:30 – 3 p.m.
  • Location: S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, Colorado Springs
  • Admission: Included with general admission ticket


Guests are invited to a special meet-and-greet with the goalball athletes in the museum’s atrium. This allows attendees to hear directly from these Paralympians and gain insight into the impact of goalball. Following the meet-and-greet, guests will have the opportunity to continue conversations with the athletes as they tour the museum together, making for a memorable and immersive experience.

Starting at 3 p.m. the museum offers Colorado locals can purchase admission tickets for just $10 with a valid Colorado ID and out-of-state visitors are also welcome to join the fun, receiving 20% off their tickets when accompanied by a Colorado resident.
