Yosh Uchida coached the first U.S. Olympic Judo Team. More than half a century later, at 100 years old he remains the San Jose State University head judo coach.
In select company as one of the few deaf athletes ever to participate in the Olympic or Paralympic Games, she has won three gold medals, two silver and a bronze.
