Dear Friends of the Olympic and Paralympic movements,

Welcome to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Digital Museum!

As we draw closer to the Museum opening in 2020, we are excited to share with you some of the things you will see when you visit us in Colorado Springs.

Whether your interest lies in the Winter Games or Summer Games, team sports or individual sports – or all of the above — the Museum has lots to offer, from experiencing what it is like to participate in the Parade of Nations during the Opening Ceremony to remembering the United States’ top athletes and their incredible performances.

Want to relive the 1980 Miracle On Ice? You’ll love seeing the scoreboard from the Lake Placid Olympic Fieldhouse.

Want to see an Olympic Torch from past Olympic Games? See the medals that athletes put around their necks?

Our 60,000 square-foot Museum is dedicated to U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes and their compelling stories. It will be a world-class destination, with the artifacts, media and technology behind the athletes who make the United States proud. We will focus on the core values of the Olympic and Paralympic movements: friendship, respect and excellence; determination, equality, inspiration and courage.

We are proud that the Museum will be the most accessible and interactive museum in the United States. Visitors of all abilities will be able to experience the exhibits through inclusive design and assistive technologies such as mobile apps, video captions, audio description tracks, universal keypads, RFID-triggered customizations and more.

This Digital Museum is a gateway to the physical Museum. Take a look at the Hall of Fame athletes, coaches and teams, read about some of the items that will be on display and consider our tips for making your trip to Olympic City USA and the Pikes Peak Region the best it can be. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

We hope that you will enjoy the Museum as much as we have enjoyed building it. And don’t forget – there is still time left to donate to our mission through our Community Campaign and the Diamond Donor Program. We want everyone to feel a part of America’s newest national treasure – how great will it be to say, “I helped build it.”

Your support is truly appreciated. Sincerely,

Christopher Liedel
