Go here because: The 8,000-seat arena provides a world-class experience as the premier sports and entertainment venue in the region, hosting first-rate concerts and shows, as well as Colorado College men’s hockey games. The adjoining World Arena Ice Hall is a U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center and also is home of The Broadmoor Skating Club.




40 years later, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Digital Museum looks back at key events and moments from Lake Placid 1980, where the U.S. Men's Ice Hockey Team pulled off the Miracle on Ice and speed skater Eric Heiden won an unprecedented five gold medals.
