All glass windows are in place and the last diamond panel will be installed on the exterior of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum in the next few weeks.
Construction continues on the 60,000-square foot building in downtown Colorado Springs. It is estimated that 95 percent of the building is complete. Crews have started bringing new dirt into the plaza in front of the museum and grading that area; concrete will be poured soon in the plaza and the second floor outdoor event space. Construction of the café continues and glass will be installed in the coming weeks.

The Summer Games gallery walls are nearly completely installed, while the Winter Games wall is being prepared. A faceted wall in an upstairs gallery – where a United States map will show where Olympic athletes come from – is also in place. Ceiling tiles are installed in several of the galleries to give the space a nearly finished look.
Drywall is nearly finished in the upper atrium and GFRG panels (the perforated sails) are being completed in the atrium as well.
