PARIS SUMMER FEST CELEBRATION

The Paris Olympic Games may have ended, but the excitement continues as we gear up for the Paralympic Games! Join us at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum to celebrate the ongoing spirit of Paris 2024.

Experience the energy of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games right here in Olympic City USA. From August 28 through September 8, our 2024 Paris Summer Fest celebration continues, offering even more opportunities to honor Team USA.

Paris Summer Fest features daily activities, including artifact demonstrations and live coverage from the Paris Paralympic Games displayed on our 40-foot LED wall. On weekends, don’t miss the chance to meet Olympic and Paralympic athletes during our special athlete meet-and-greet sessions.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last ticket sold at 4 p.m.

Catch the live coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Opening Ceremony from 12 – 3 p.m. on the 40-foot LED wall, with the convenience of mobile ordering from Flame Café. 

Celebrate the first Saturday of the Paris Paralympic Games with us at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum! Join us for a full day of exciting programming designed to raise awareness about the Paralympic Movement. Experience sports demonstrations, meet some service puppies in training, and enjoy much more!

We will also have live coverage of the Paralympic Games from Paris displayed on our impressive 40-foot LED wall, along with special meet & greets with Paralympic athletes. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to support and learn more about the incredible athletes of the Paralympic Movement.

Olympic City USA Task Force Co-Chair Bernard Sandoval will be painting a new Paralympic-themed piece throughout the day. 

Join us at the museum for an exciting Touch-a-Truck event with the Colorado Springs Fire Department! Kids will have the unique opportunity to explore a real fire engine and meet the brave firefighters who protect our community.

In partnership with the Colorado Springs Sports Corp, this free event in front of the museum will be a citywide celebration for all ages. Tickets are required to enter the museum.

Join us for a FREE outdoor watch party of the Paris Games on August 3 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum! Bring your own chair and cheer on America’s greatest athletes in Olympic City USA. The event will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Flame Café will be selling snacks and beverages on the Plaza! A ticket is required to tour the museum. See you there!

Downtown Summer Fest

July 27, 2024
11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Downtown Summer Fest celebration is a free, indoor and outdoor event that runs in the plaza of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum.

Team USA fans can watch the Paris Games broadcast on KOAA News 5 on a giant outdoor screen, enjoy live entertainment, food and beverage plus Olympic and Paralympic athlete autograph sessions and sport demonstrations.

The event is free to attend, and Museum tickets are available for purchase.
