Quarterly program connects readers with Olympians and Paralympians through their personal stories
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum is launching Legacy Library: Virtual Book Club, a free program that brings sports fans, book lovers, and museum supporters together with Olympians and Paralympians to explore their personal stories through literature.
Each quarter, the Museum will feature a book authored by an Olympian or Paralympian. This will culminate in a live Zoom discussion with the athlete moderated by four-time Olympian and avid reader Kara Winger. Participants will gain exclusive insights into the athletes’ journeys, challenges, and triumphs while engaging in meaningful conversations about their books.
The lineup includes conversations with Olympic figure skater Gracie Gold, Paralympic swimming champion Jessica Long, and Paralympian and world champion Melissa Stockwell.
