COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum continues the mission to celebrate the stories behind the Games with a new installment of the Specialty Tour Series this November: Valor to Victory, honoring America’s greatest athletes who have also served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Offered in honor of Veterans Day, this 60-minute guided tour provides a powerful look into the intersection of military service and Olympic and Paralympic competition. Each Specialty Tour ticket includes general admission to the Museum, and veterans will receive 20% off when signing up for the tour.
The Valor to Victory Specialty Tour will be available November 13–30, taking place Thursday through Monday at 12 p.m. each day. Space is limited.
The experience highlights athletes who have represented Team USA and their country in uniform, including Paralympian Melissa Stockwell, a Purple Heart recipient and three-time Paralympian; Mal Whitfield, a U.S. Army veteran and member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen; and Harrison Dillard, a World War II veteran and Olympic gold medalist.
Guests will experience rare artifacts from veteran athletes — including uniforms, medals, service memorabilia, and Paralympic-specific items — that reflect the resilience, courage, and commitment of those who have both served and competed.
Tours begin daily at noon, and space is limited. Tickets are available HERE.
The Museum’s Specialty Tour Series offers themed, docent-led experiences that connect visitors more deeply with the people, artifacts, and moments that define the Olympic and Paralympic movements.
