March 14 – U.S. Olympic Museum Board of Directors REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFQ Subtype: Construction Manager/General Contractor
Project Title: CM/GC for U.S Olympic Museum project
Project Description: This project is to design and construct an approximate 60,000 SF state-of-the-art thematic museum celebrating the Olympic and Paralympic movements
This project will anchor and be a gateway other project in a SW downtown Colorado Springs Urban Renewal district. The museum will present the history, artifacts, media and our collective memories of the Olympic and Paralympic Games along with other interactive experiences that attest to the universal power of the Olympic movement. The Project will include lobby space, exhibit spaces, retail space, a restaurant, studio space, special event space, administrative offices, back-of-house space, and a significant exterior plaza. Estimated project cost is $65 million.
