Guest safety is of paramount importance

Guests are socially distanced in the Parade of Nations gallery

The Museum has taken extensive measures to provide a safe and contactless environment for guests. Please see below for a list of procedures and resources that allow guests to visit the Museum with confidence. To learn more, please contact us at [email protected]

  • All staff and guests are required to have their temperature taken and wear face coverings.
  • Timed ticketing and minute-by-minute attendance caps in each gallery based on federal, state and local health guidelines.
  • Ticketing and primary access control takes place outside on the Museum Plaza.
  • Staff-led orientation for all guests to understand Museum safety features, social distancing measures and guest safety and cleaning tools available throughout the Museum.
  • All guests receive a keepsake stylus for use with touchscreens and other touchable elements to limit contact on surfaces.
  • Mobile registration allows guests to use their smartphones to select personalized experiences and accessibility preferences, thereby minimizing touches at interactive experiences.
  • Gallery capacity limitations to allow for social distancing.
  • Visual social distancing indicators for queuing and exhibit viewing throughout the Museum. 
  • Physical social distancing dividers in various exhibits and interactive experiences throughout the Museum.
  • The Museum, Flame Café and The Museum Shop are all cash-free and contactless card enabled (VISA only).
  • Guest sanitation and safety stations with hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes are located throughout the Museum.

  • Seniors (65+): $19.95
  • Military (active duty or retired) or First Responders with ID: $19.95
  • Children 2 and under are free
Group tickets (15 or more)
  • Adults: $17.95
  • Children: $12.95

In recognition of VISA’s long-standing partnership, the Museum proudly accepts only VISA for all payments. This includes on-site ticket purchases, dining in the Flame Café and shopping at The Museum Shop. To provide a safe, contactless experience, the Museum does not accept cash. MUSEUM HOURS

The Museum is open Sunday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., only closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

We strongly encourage guests to purchase tickets online in advance. Admission is timed to maintain social distancing in the Museum.

ARRIVAL PROCESS

Due to COVID-19, all ticketing is taking place on the Plaza in front of the Museum. Each guest is required to wear a face covering and pass a temperature check before entering.

By purchasing tickets online, guests can skip the queue and go directly to Will Call.

Walk-up tickets are available for sale on the Plaza, subject to availability.

All visitors attend a brief, staff-led orientation in the Museum lobby before beginning their experience. In this orientation, guests learn about RFID personalization and COVID-19 safety and cleaning measures.
