Meet Our Paralympic Athletes
Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with inspiring Paralympic athletes during our scheduled meet and greet sessions:
10:30 – 11:30 a.m. | Michael Tagliapietra, a 2016 Paralympian competing in Para Shooting, will kick off the day sharing his journey and experiences on the world’s biggest stage.
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Wesley Williams, a Para Athletics athlete and multiple-time guide runner for silver medalist Lex Gillette, will be on hand to talk about the unique and powerful partnership between guide runners and visually impaired athletes.
12:30 – 1:30 p.m. | Christian King & Zion Walker, both 2024 Paralympians competing in Goalball, will be here to share their experiences representing Team USA on the Paralympic stage and give fans a look into the exciting and fast-paced world of Goalball.
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. | Emi Perry, a 2024 Paralympian competing in Paratriathlon, rounds out the day with her story of determination and elite multi-sport competition.

Activities for the Whole Family
From 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., stop by to visit our Canine Companions, whose specially trained service dogs play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities. Learn about the incredible bond between these animals and the people they serve.
Also from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., the Colorado Springs Fire Department will be hosting a Touch-a-Truck experience, giving kids and families the chance to get up close with their vehicles and meet the dedicated men and women who serve our community.
