Join the Museum for a special celebration of sport, inclusion, and the Olympic & Paralympic spirit in the heart of Olympic City USA.

Enjoy interactive activities, athlete meet-and-greets, and family-friendly experiences inspired by Team USA and the global Olympic and Paralympic movements.

Athlete Meet and Greets

10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

  • Jennifer Valente – 3x gold medalist in cycling 

  • McClain Hermes – 2x Paralympic swimmer

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

  • Daniel Roberts – Silver medalist in track & field

  • Josh O’Neil – Silver medalist in wheelchair rugby

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

  • David Johnston – Olympic swimmer

  • Hailey Danz – Gold medalist in Paratriathlon 

1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

  • Nicole Heavirland – Olympic women’s rugby player

  • Noah Jaffe – 2x medalist in Paralympic swimming

Other Activities

12 – 2 p.m.

  • Canine Companions
    • Canine Companions is a national organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs at no charge to the recipient. Meet the pups in training to be service dogs! 

12 – 1 p.m.

  • Pride Month Tour
    • This one-hour guided tour celebrates LGBTQ+ athletes and the mark they’ve made on Olympic and Paralympic history, from quiet courage to triumphant milestones. Come ready to be moved. 

12 – 1 p.m.

  • Touch-a-Truck with the Colorado Springs Fire Department 
    • The Colorado Springs Fire Department will be hosting a Touch-a-Truck experience, giving kids and families the chance to get up close with their vehicles and meet the dedicated men and women who serve our community.

The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is proud to present this event as part of the America 250 – Colorado 150 celebration.
