The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum, in collaboration with the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking leadership seminar led by Jim Craig, Olympic gold medalist and Miracle on Ice team member. Entitled “Developing the Winning Underdog Mindset,” this seminar offers participants a unique opportunity to dive into the keys of success, resilience, and teamwork.

Jim Craig – renowned for his achievements both as an athlete and in the business world – will share invaluable insights gleaned from his experiences. Through the seminar, participants will learn to harness the power of mindset and leverage the underdog status as a catalyst for success. Key topics include:

  • Think different, play differently, and win differently
  • Kindle your competitive fire
  • Commit to proving doubters wrong
  • Victor not victim – results not reasons
  • Expect adversity – it never gets easier
  • Accept the challenge – embrace the opportunity

During the four-hour session, Craig will share the essential elements of goal setting, defining a mission, and cultivating a winning mentality. Participants will also engage in small-group facilitated discussions led by Olympians and expert facilitators, providing a platform for personalized insights and questions.

There will be two sessions offered on September 26, 2024: the first from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the second from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., both held at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum.
