Artifact Donation

Help tell the story of what it means to be a U.S. Olympic or Paralympic athlete.

Only through your generosity can we preserve the history of Team USA, honor the excellence of those who participate in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and connect the generations of fans who visit us in person and online. If you own an object, document, or photograph related to U.S. Olympic or Paralympic history, we want to hear from you. Share your history with fans everywhere, now and for generations to come.

If you are interested in loaning or donating an object to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, please contact usEmail curator@usopm.org with a description of the object(s), images, and your contact informationWe are interested in many different objects – tickets, uniform pieces, equipment, medals, photographs, and more.

Collections scope

The USOPM’s collections consist of artifacts, images, manuscripts, and documents which honor, celebrate, capture and record the history of the members of Team USA and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Movement. Items may be exhibited both physically and digitally, preserved, and used as research material to inspire others and promote the core values of the Olympic and Paralympic Movement: friendship, respect and excellence, determination, equality, inspiration and courage.

The USOPM collects and displays artifacts that fall into at least one of three broad categories. Artifacts generally should have great historical significance, help tell inspiring stories, or have a direct connection to a well-known Olympic or Paralympic athlete.
