The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum will host First Responders Weekend on Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17. On these days, law enforcement, fire services and emergency medical service providers with identification will receive complimentary admission at the door.
“The Museum is extremely grateful to everyone who helps keep our community safe,” Museum Chief Executive Officer Christopher Liedel said. “First Responders Weekend is an opportunity to thank these frontline workers and provide them the opportunity to experience the history of America’s greatest athletes through memorable artifacts, interactive exhibits and immersive technology. We welcome these first responders and look forward to their visiting one of the top places to go in the Pikes Peak Region.”
The Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
The 60,000-square foot Museum, which recently was named by USA Today as the nation’s Best New Attraction in 2020, is considered one of the top places to visit in Colorado. The Museum has taken extensive measures to provide a safe and contactless environment so that guests can visit with confidence.
