Meet 2004 Olympic all-around champion Carly Patterson

Come meet Carly and hear her story at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum on Thursday, August 1 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Carly Patterson, born in Baton Rouge, LA, rose to prominence in gymnastics at an early age. She gained international fame at the 2004 Athens Olympics, becoming the first American woman in 20 years to win the all-around gold medal. Her performances also helped the U.S. team secure a silver medal in the team competition.
 
After her Olympic triumph, Carly retired from gymnastics and transitioned to a career in music and motivational speaking. She continues to inspire with her story of perseverance and success. Inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, Carly remains a prominent figure in the gymnastics community.
 
Carly advocates for healthy living and youth sports, supporting causes related to health, fitness, and the empowerment of young athletes. She lives in Dallas, TX, with her husband Mark, their two children, and their beloved pets.
