Meet Team USA Athletes

One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity to meet Team USA athletes, including the Olympic figure skating team bronze medalist Gracie Gold from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., 2024 Olympic qualifiers Jennifer Lozano from 1 – 2 p.m., and Joshua Edwards from 2 – 3 p.m. 

National Wheelchair Basketball Association Announcement

Be part of history as the National Wheelchair Basketball Association unveils its men’s and women’s teams competing at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The announcement, scheduled for around 4 p.m., adds an extra layer of excitement to the celebration.

Kids’ Zone Extravaganza

Thanks to our friends at the Pikes Peak Children’s Museum and the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, young attendees can enjoy a specially curated Kids’ Zone. From designing and decorating DIY medals to interactive games, there’s no shortage of fun activities for children. Encourage them to write letters to their favorite Team USA athletes, igniting their passion for sports and inspiration.

Guided Museum Tours

Embark on a journey through sports history with guided tours led by knowledgeable museum guides. Available at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., these tours provide a comprehensive understanding of America’s greatest athletes and the enduring legacies of the Olympic and Paralympic movements.

Artifact Demonstrations

Immerse yourself in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games with artifact demonstrations. Witness iconic memorabilia up close and learn about their significance from knowledgeable guides. Don’t miss the chance to hold an authentic Olympic torch, a symbol of unity and athleticism.
