JO Hiver Calgary 1988, Patinage artistique, individuel Femmes - Debra THOMAS (USA) 3e.

Celebrate Black History Month at this month’s Curator Collection on February 8 from 1 – 2 p.m.! Members and ticketed guests will enjoy a virtual Q&A with Debi Thomas, the first Black American to medal at the Olympic Winter Games! Her 1988 short-program costume will be one of the featured artifacts on display courtesy of the World Figure Skating Museum & Hall of Fame. We will also take guests through the triumphs of athletes like Jesse Owens and Wilma Rudolph to the iconic moments created by trailblazers like Tommie Smith and John Carlos. From there, we’ll bring you into the present, shining a spotlight on contemporary stars such as Simone Biles and Clarissa Shields.
