COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum’s Specialty Tour Series continues this May with the Military Appreciation Tour, honoring the extraordinary stories of Team USA athletes who have also served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

This 60-minute guided tour, offered daily at noon, offers a powerful look at the intersection of military service and Olympic and Paralympic competition. Each Specialty Tour ticket includes general admission to the Museum.

The tour highlights athletes who have represented Team USA and their country in uniform, including Paralympian Melissa Stockwell, a Purple Heart recipient and three-time Paralympian; George Patton, a 1912 Olympian and legendary military leader; and Harrison Dillard, a World War II veteran and Olympic gold medalist.

In addition to these inspiring stories, guests will see unique artifacts from veteran athletes—including uniforms, medals, service memorabilia, and Paralympic-specific items—that reflect the resilience, courage, and commitment of those who have both served and competed.

Tours begin at noon each day, and space is limited. Click here for tickets.
