Colorado Springs, Colo. — The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum today announced that its Signature Hallway is set to open May 21, a new experience that highlights the more than 700 Team USA athletes who have visited the Museum and left their mark. Each signature represents a moment when they were welcomed and recognized as part of this shared story.

The Signature Hallway was made possible through the generous support of Jack and Judi Johnson, the David & Eula Wintermann Foundation, and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Endowment.

At the heart of the experience is a one-of-a-kind installation built from the signatures of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have spent time in the Museum. The diamond-shaped panels they signed—originally part of the building’s exterior—now come together to form a powerful and personal timeline. More than 700 signatures represent athletes who have been welcomed to the Museum and have contributed to the place that preserves their story.

“This is one of the most personal spaces in the Museum,” said Marisa Wigglesworth, CEO of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. “Every signature represents an athlete who has been here—who has been welcomed, celebrated and recognized as part of this community. Bringing those moments together in one place creates something powerful for our guests.”

The Signature Hallway also features a first-ever public display of the prestigious U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Endowment Awards. The awards recognize outstanding contributors to U.S. sport, honoring iconic athletes, visionary leaders, and dedicated advocates who have made a lasting impact.

Visitors can explore the stories of past award recipients through interactive kiosks, which will continue to be updated as future honorees are recognized.

Guests visiting the Museum will be among the first to experience this immersive new space beginning May 21, bringing together the voices, achievements, and personal marks of generations of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes in one unified display.
