COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum today named Michael O’Conor as its Chief Growth Officer. With more than two decades of experience in sports sponsorship and business development, O’Conor brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum team,” said Marisa Wigglesworth, CEO of the USOPM. “His extensive experience and achievements in the sports industry make him the ideal candidate to lead our growth initiatives as we continue to inspire and empower visitors through the stories of Olympic and Paralympic athlete excellence.”
O’Conor joins the USOPM after serving as the Principal of The O’Conor Agency, supporting commercial marketing initiatives and cultivating partnerships for clients including USA Swimming, The National Thoroughbred League, and USRowing. Prior to his agency role, O’Conor held key positions at U.S. Ski & Snowboard, as Chief Revenue Officer, and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

In his new role as Chief Growth Officer, O’Conor will leverage his strategic insights and deep understanding of the sports marketing landscape and Olympic and Paralympic movements to drive revenue growth, expand partnerships, enhance the visitor experience, and advance the mission at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum.
