“It’s Your Vibe: Team USA at Milano Cortina 2026” opens April 4.
Colorado Springs, Colo. — The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum will unveil a new temporary exhibit, It’s Your Vibe: Team USA at Milano Cortina 2026, opening to the public on April 4. The exhibit offers a dynamic look back at Team USA’s journey through the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, capturing the energy, achievements and personal stories that defined Milano Cortina 2026.
Bringing together a growing collection of artifacts and firsthand experiences, the exhibit captures the spirit of Team USA through items sourced directly from athletes and the global Olympic and Paralympic community. Featured pieces include:
- The U.S. flag carried on the ice by Olympic gold medalist Hilary Knight following Team USA’s victory in women’s ice hockey
- A competition skinsuit worn by Olympic speedskater Conor McDermott-Mostowy
- A complete set of official Olympic and Paralympic pins from Milano Cortina 2026
- A signature-covered Museum diamond panel featuring more than 40 Team USA athletes
Official Olympic and Paralympic mascot plush figures, including a podium plushie - A signed celebration t-shirt from Olympic gold medalist and NHL All-Star Jack Hughes
- An official torchbearer uniform from the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games
- The Garden of the Gods uniform worn during Team USA’s international promotion of the Games
Made possible thanks to the generosity of Judi and Jack Johnson and the David and Eula Wintermann Foundation, the exhibit will continue to evolve as additional artifacts arrive from athletes and partners. Future additions are expected to include an official Milano Cortina Olympic torch and medals; items from Olympic figure skating champions Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea and bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor; items from Anna Gibson and Cam Smith, members of the first-ever U.S. ski mountaineering team; and a ski suit and helmet from Paralympic alpine skiing silver medalist Patrick Halgren.
The exhibit is inspired in part by the Museum’s recent presence in Milan, where the USOPM curatorial staff engaged directly with athletes, fans and National Governing Bodies throughout the Games. The team activated at Winter House—a Team USA hospitality venue—offering visitors the opportunity to hold an Olympic torch, explore digital interactives and connect with the Museum’s mission. The team facilitated dozens of torch demonstrations for hundreds of attendees and distributed 50 medal care kits to both current and past Team USA athletes.
“These experiences allowed us to build meaningful relationships with athletes and partners while sharing the Museum’s story on an international stage,” said Lindsay Huban, USOPM Chief of Content & Integration. “This exhibit brings that momentum back to Colorado Springs, giving our guests a unique, behind-the-scenes look at Team USA’s journey through Milano Cortina.”
In addition to engaging with athletes and NGBs, the Museum collaborated with representatives from the International Olympic Committee, The Olympic Museum and several National Olympic Committees to help source artifacts and deepen connections across the global Olympic and Paralympic Movement.
It’s Your Vibe: Team USA at Milano Cortina 2026 will be on view for a limited time, with duration dependent on future exhibit rotations.
